Has this ever happened with you and getting fitted for pointe shoes?

-So today I got fitted and got a pair. And then i come home and they just don't feel like they did in the store and i feel like my toes are stabbing the bottom of the box. Also, if it matters they are Capezio Tiffany'sThe same thing literally just happened to me. Mine are Bloch European Balance so I don't think it's your shoe. I think the more you put them on the more you notice how they need to be broken in. Mine were unusually comfortable the first time I tried them on then just got less and less every time I put them back on... I think we both just gotta tough it out and break them in as much as possible. Good luck! :)
That sounds... not right. I would think that wouldn't happen but whatever. I believe take them back and I have never tried tiffany's capezios but i guess they are good brand, my brand that I like if you want the advice, is Gaynor Minden, according to a video i recently seen, it has shock asorbing pads that reduce the pain caused when you stand on full pointe. you can check out "Gaynor Minden Pointe Shoe Review" if you'd like and I think there's a tested video with the tests they did with a regular pointe shoes brand and the Gaynor Minden:)

Hope I helped a bit with your problem sorry if I got of track:)
That's happened to me too, and it almost always gets better with time- just try to break them in the best you can and mold them to your foot.
If u switched toe pads, that's probably why. It will get better with time tho congrats
i think maybe its could be because u didnt have the same toe pads on as u did in the shop.
