I need help choreographing a dance!!?

-what are the steps to successfully choreograph a dance? I am required to do one.I agree with Sasha's answer. I would like to add that level changes are good (depending on dance style I guess). Also if you're choreographing for a group change formations, use canons. Don't have the dancers do the choreography at the same time, in the same direction, and in the same spot for the whole dance.
hmm, go on youtube and look up daddywongproductions use one of her dances that they choreograph...
