-I'm 5'3.5" and 115 pounds.
flat tummy and long arms/neck, long enough legs. They aren't super long, but they are longer than my torso. I don't have well arched feet, but they arch well in shoes because of how i work them.
i just have muscular legs /:You know, in dance history there have been many dancers who didn't have 'the perfect body'.
Carla Fracci wasn't allowed to enroll in La Scala for a while because of her foot,Kesshinka, first ballerina assoluta, had weak jumps, Svetlana Zakharova at ten was short and chubby, Cojocaru at 15 had no grace in her arms, Nureyev, when he auditioned for Bolshoi at 17, was told he had too short and muscular leg. But they have all found a way to overwhelm their flaws and show off their abilities. Anybody, working hard, can reach a good level in their preparation. To have 'super long legs' doesn't ensure a big career - on the contrary, they can make you loose your balance in stuff like Italian fouettes or fouettes a la seconde- and being tall or not doesn't mean so much: think, for example, at the long Sylvie Guillem or at the petite Olesya Novikova, both worldwide etoiles, different heights.
What makes a student a real artist - 'cause that's what a dancer is, and we often forgot this- is a mix of physical shapes, skills and artistry; what you can do is to work on your technique and your feet!
So, keep on studying! You're a little on the short side but that shouldn't stop you, you will succeed if you work hard and success will be even better once you beat the odds :)
Actually it is. But it depends on what other people think too.
no.
